SUN Mar 4	1:15 PM	MODERATE The hike leader leads her farewell hike today where all of us love seeing the migrating geese and swans: Middle Creek. Depending on the presence of birds, we will either walk 5-6 miles of easy pavement around the lake or hike the trails and hills offroad there. Or impromptu hike where you like. Thurs Mar 15	6:30 PM	EASY Join us to walk in Columbia Borough for 5 easy miles. Meet at the Weis Market on 462. From US-30, go south on Prospect Rd. Right on PA-462 about a mile to shopping center for Weis on the Left. Dress for traffic safety.
SUN Mar 18	8 AM	STRENUOUS Hike 12 miles at Ridley Creek / Tyler Arboretum. Carpool from Buchanan Park in Lancaster on Race Av near Buchanan Av.
SUN Mar 18	1:15 PM	MODERATE Hike 6 ½ moderate miles. One hill and one stream crossing today as we hike along the Pequea Creek from Pequea to Martic Forge and back. Or impromptu hike where you like. Carpools leave promptly from North West End Av at Buchanan Av, Lancaster, PA.
Thurs Mar 22	6:30 PM	EASY Walk 5 miles, in Overlook from the parking lot of PNC Bank in North Pointe on Oregon Pike. From US-30 take PA-272 north to the first traffic light. Turn left into the parking lot. Flashlight or Reflectors please.
SATURDAY March 24	1:15 PM	MODERATE SPECIAL: Hike about 5 miles in Conestoga Woods and on the Greenway section of our CTS. Meet the leader at the parking lot on S Duke St, Lancaster just before the bridge over the Conestoga River. We plan to eat out at a restaurant afterwards.
SUN Mar 25	1:15 PM	MODERATE Hike 6 miles, in state game lands 156, east of Cornwall. Or impromptu. Carpools leave promptly from North West End Av at Buchanan Av, Lancaster, PA.
Thurs Mar 29	6:30 PM	EASY Meet, at North West End Av at Buchanan Av, Lancaster, PA. for a hike toward Wheatland of about 5 miles in gentle hills.

SUN Apr 1	1:15 PM	MODERATE Hike 4 to 5 miles in beautiful woods on moderate hills of Nolde Forest . Or impromptu. Carpools leave promptly from North West End Av at Buchanan Av, Lancaster, PA.
Thurs Apr 5	6:30 PM	EASY Meet at VALENTINOS, 134 Rider Av, Lancaster, to hike 5 easy miles in that area. Afterwards join her for refreshments. Valentinos is two blocks west of West End Av and 1 ½ blocks south of Columbia Av (PA-462).
SUN Apr 8	1:15 PM	MODERATE Easter bonnets optional. Hike about 6 miles in the moderate hills of Lancaster County Central Park. We plan to eat an early supper out after the hike. Or impromptu. Carpools leave promptly from North West End Av at Buchanan Av, Lancaster, PA.
Thurs Apr 12	6:30 PM	EASY Meet in Millersville at the Lions Bldg for about 5 miles of walking in the gentle hills of our university town. From PA-741, go WEST on PA-999 1.2 miles, LEFT on Duke St 2 blocks, LEFT on W Charlotte 200', RIGHT into Lion's lot.
SAT APR 14	1:15 PM	MODERATE Hike 4-5 moderate miles in Reed Run Nature Preserve just south of Pequea. It's the time and place for wildflowers. Carpool: see footnote.
SUN Apr 15	7 AM	STRENUOUS Hike 14 miles on the AT in PA from Lehigh Gap to Smith Gap. Carpool from Buchanan Park in Lancaster on Race Av near Buchanan Av.
SUN Apr 15	1:15 PM	Hike about 5 moderate miles in Silver Mine Park. Or impromptu hike. Carpools leave promptly from North West End Av at Buchanan Av, Lancaster, PA.
Thurs Apr 19	6:30 PM	EASY Walk about 5 easy miles at Overlook Park and surrounds. Meet at Barney's lot: From US-30 in Lancaster, go north on Fruitville Pike about 0.5 mi to turn right at a traffic light onto Granite Run. Follow it just beyond the library to Barney's lot. Flashlight or Reflectors please.
SAT APR 21	1:15 PM	EASY Flower GWalking time at Shenk's Ferry. This is a pretty, slow moving, conversational, camera, and book-look-up hike of two easy trail miles by a stream. Usually we like to add an extra mile at hiker pace afterwards to fill our lungs with oxygen. Then we are ready for our first ICE CREAM STOP of the season at fabulous Pine View Dairy. Thurs Apr 26	6:30 PM	MODERATE Our 5-mile hike at lovely Masonic Retirement Home includes a climb. Meet at the Elizabethtown train station. Take PA-283 to the exit marked "Elizabethtown/Rheems" Turn LEFT on CLOVERLEAF RD 1 mile; RIGHT on PA 230 for 2.7 miles; LEFT on High St 1/2 mile; LEFT on WILSON AV about 300 feet to the parking lot on your RIGHT.
SUN Apr 29	1:15 PM	MODERATE-STRENUOUS Hike about 5 miles on the Mason-Dixon Trail in the Conowingo area. Lots of hills, views of the Susquehanna, wildflowers, and maybe even some eagles. Or impromptu hike where you like. Carpools leave promptly from North West End Av at Buchanan Av, Lancaster, PA.
