and official site for the Conestoga Trail System in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

( Rte 324 and River Rd.)

This is a Strenuous Section of Trail

The average elevation for the river is 200 ft. above sea level.

This is like walking Up and Down the stairs of 5 - 50 story buildings.

There is almost no Cell Phone Service in this region.

Hike with a Buddy and Bring plenty of Water!!!!!!!!!!!!!


* Automobile direct Access points and parking.

** Parking at LCC's Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve. Follow Blue trail to CTS( orange Blazes) about 2 miles.

*** Access via LCC's House Rock Nature Preserve. Located at the End of House rock road. Follow the Blue trail.

Some suggested hikes that utilize this section of the Conestoga Trail

Holtwood Arboreteum to the Pinnacle and Back. About 5 miles. (rocky , Strenuous)

Holtwood to the Pinnacle- Spot cars at each end. 2.5 miles( Rocky, Strenuous)

The Pinnacle to Tucquan Glen Nature preseve parking area. Spot cars. about 3.5 miles

House Rock Nature Preserve to Tucquan Glen. Spot cars. About 5 miles

Tucquan Glen to Pequea Marina. Spot cars. About 6 miles.

Pequea Marina to Martic Forge and back. About 6 miles. Easiest suggested hike on this segment. Very flat.
